In 1979, Consumer Counseling Service was of Fayetteville (CCCS), was established to provide financial literacy education and counseling, and comprehensive housing counseling to families and individuals in our local service area of Cumberland County. CCCS ‘program mission is to assist residents of our communities in achieving financial well being through counseling, and education. Today CCCS has expanded its services to 32 North Carolina counties. Regional services are made available through 11 neighborhood financial care centers.
CCCS provides the following services to the communities we serve: financial/budget counseling, debt management plans, tax preparation, credit counseling, mortgage default intervention, pre and post purchase homeownership counseling, rental counseling, reverse mortgage counseling, homeownership seminars, financial planning counseling, money management seminars and counseling, financial literacy workshops, pre filling bankruptcy counseling, and pre discharge education.

(CCCS-FC) was established locally in 1972 as a non-profit educational organization to help families build wealth, achieve financial self-sufficiency, attain financial stability, and handle financial crises.. In addition, CCCS also offers services to the community through the Center for Home Ownerships, the Homebuyer Education Center, the Center for Financial Education, and Senior Financial Care. CCCS partners with families, schools, religious organizations, businesses, government agencies, and other non-profits, serving residents of Forsyth and surrounding counties from offices in Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Statesville, Mocksville, and Yadkinville.
